Coat 

The Siberian cat has three dense layers of coat. They shed for the Summer months and will require lots of grooming. Although they are long haired, they can be good for allergy sufferers because they produce less of the FEL D1 antigenic protein than other cats. The coat can come in many different colors.

Build 

These are big cats. Only the Maine Coon is bigger but they are also athletic and can jump a fair height.

Face 

Siberian cats have large, friendly eyes that have slightly upturned outer corners set in a round face.

Behavior 

The Siberian is very affectionate breed and has a dog like temperament. They are confident cats and will greet visitors.

Health 

They are a healthy and hardy breed.
